At all about Changes we strive to provide clients with the most natural and organic product lines available. We are progressively adding new inventory as the market improves the chemistry of products.

Currently we carry Paraben-Free and SLS-Free
"Caviar" and "Bamboo" Hair Care lines by ALTERNA.

We also carry the complete EUFORA line, which has a certified organic aloe vera base, made with pure essential oils and the finest botanicals. These products are gentle and nourishing for all hair types, but especially for those with sensitive skin and scalp issues.

In the salon we now offer the revolutionary INOA

Why Paraben-Free?
Parabens are preservatives used in many products increase shelf life by inhibiting microbial growth. These preservatives displayed estrogenic activity in laboratory testing, and are known endocrine disruptors that can have a negative effect on the hypothalamus, ovaries and thyroid. Parabens are being replaced by conscientious product manufacturers with safer alternatives such as pure essential oils.

Why SLS-Free?
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) and it's derivatives dissolve oil on your skin and scalp causing a drying effect and denaturing protective skin proteins. SLS, when absorbed mimics the activity of the hormone estrogen, and can contribute to hormone related symptoms and cancer.

Why Ammonia-Free?
Ammonia causes the hair follicle to become porous and easily saturate with color, however in the process, it also strips hair of it's natural nutrients and causes dry damage. Over time, ammonia-based color generally weakens the hair. Some forward thinking product lines have created Ammonia-Free hair color, which is provides beautiful and long-lasting color without the harsh drying effects of ammonia.
